I was diagnosed with Type 1 about two years ago. I am 23.

I am planning to go teach English in South Korea and I have been trying to find out what kind of care is available there. Specifically, will I be able to find the same brands of insulins, and equipment, ect.

Does anyone know about this or where I can look to find out?

I too have type-1 diabetes and wish to teach English in Korea. I am 24 and was diagnosed when I was 20

Did you find any sources of medication? Are there clinics in South Korea that work to aid diabetic patients? I wish I were able to embark without any worry, but I can't help having the image of my arriving in Korea and having no way to obtain medication or care.

If you did find ways to get medication, or have any advice about this subject, I'd be more than glad if you shared it with me.
