NutriGenie Diabetes Software
Since ancient times, diet has been acknowledged as the cornerstone of diabetes management. NutriGenie, a company established by a group of Stanford University researchers, has developed software for use on Windows that combines age old methods of diet maintenance with 20th century technology.
NutriGenie markets software that works as an organizer for one's diabetes management system. The software implements the American Diabetes Association's dietary guidelines and works as a companion to its publications.
The software can analyze foods' calorie, protein, carbohydrate, total fat, cholesterol, sodium, fiber, potassium and calcium levels. It also provides users with utilities that track blood glucose levels, log weight, keep a diet history, and determine caloric need and expenditure.
