New Glucose Monitor Unveiled


May 1, 1998

Technical Chemicals and Products Inc. in Pompano Beach, Fla., unveiled its new noninvasive TD Glucose Monitoring System at a meeting sponsored by NASA, the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and the National Institute on Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases.

According to the company, 80 percent of the clinical studies required for registration with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have been completed. Submission of the clinical data to the FDA is expected soon after the first half of 1998.
