Splenda-sweetened Fruit Soft Drink Now Available Nationwide
Stewart's Beverages of Denver has introduced a new gourmet soft drink called "S," which is sweetened with a blend of the low-calorie sweeteners ACE K and Splenda. According to Stewart's marketing director, Ellen Gibson, "S" is a safe diet drink for people with diabetes, pregnant women and people on low-sodium diets.
"S" is lightly carbonated and comes in five flavors:
- Black Rasberry
- Orchard Peach
- Ruby Red
- Vanilla Cream
- Wild Cherry
Stewart's Beverages says the fruit flavors in "S" contain "small quantities of fruit juice to enhance their flavor." Stewart's Beverages says there is one gram of sugar for each beverage and five calories in each drink.
