Insulin

Humalog, Regular and NPH. Four shots per day, adjusted according to BG levels. Around 20 to 30 units per day.

Blood-glucose levels

Tests four to five times per day.

"As I've gotten older, I keep it a little higher than I used to. I try to keep it above 100 mg/dl."

HbA1c

Between 6 and 7%

Food

Diet varies a lot. Watches carbs.

Exercise

Goes to the gym three times per week. Plays golf.

None
