Can't afford the prescription drugs you need?
"There are over 70 programs from major drug manufacturers that provide free or low-cost medication. These programs are rarely, if ever, publicized," says Chris Pongsak, a researcher at the Prescription Assistance Coalition, which publishes a booklet and a special report on which drugs are available.
The booklet contains information on how and where to get free and low-cost prescription medications from manufacturers. The special report gives step-by-step instructions on how to obtain prescription drug discount cards that can be used at your local pharmacy.
