New Alliance Gives Animas Pump Users Free LifeScan Meter
Since October 2003, meter maker LifeScan has been partnering with pump manufacturer Animas Corporation.
Through this partnership, LifeScan is offering the OneTouch UltraSmart Blood Glucose Monitoring System—which combines an electronic logbook and meter in one—to Animas customers at no charge. The offer is available to Animas pump users who trade in their current blood glucose monitor and is limited to one meter per Animas customer.
“Our partnership with Animas will be beneficial to both patients and healthcare professionals,” says Eric Compton, vice president of marketing at LifeScan. “Both companies share a common mission of improving the quality of life for people with diabetes.”
