In August 2004, Equal introduced its Sugar Lite From Equal brand.

Containing half the calories and carbs of sugar, Equal says Sugar Lite From Equal is “the only lower-calorie, lower-carb baking product offering the ease and convenience of cup-for-cup measurement just like sugar.”

Sugar Lite From Equal is on retail shelves everywhere.
