A Cinnamon Supplement for Improving Blood Glucose

Caution: Always confer with your healthcare provider before taking supplements. In some cases supplements may interact with other medications or cause low blood glucose (hypoglycemia).

On September 23, 2004, Hero Nutritionals of San Clemente, California, launched CinnaBetic II, a new dietary supplement designed to promote glucose metabolism by increasing insulin sensitivity.

CinnaBetic II is an all-natural product containing Cinnulin PF, a patented water extract of cinnamon that may promote glucose metabolism and reduce LDL cholesterol levels in individuals with type 2 diabetes.

Hero Nutritionals will distribute CinnaBetic II in mass-market outlets under the company’s Envita Laboratories brand and in natural supermarkets and health food stores under the Hero Nutritionals brand.

Suggested retail price is $19.99.
