Nutritional Supplements Specifically for Type 2s
The DiaSense family of products
Blaine Pharmaceuticals of Fort Wright, Kentucky, has announced the availability of its DiaSense family of nutritional supplements specifically for those living with or at risk for type 2 diabetes.
The DiaSense family of products includes:
- DiaSense Magnesium
- DiaSense Chromium
- DiaSense Multivitamin
The supplements are available without a prescription at major grocers, drug stores and mass merchandise locations throughout the United States. The suggested retail price is $12.99 to $13.99 for a one- to two-month supply.

DiaSense Magnesium
According to Blaine Pharmaceuticals, studies show that up to 80 percent of people with type 2 diabetes have a magnesium deficiency. Two tablets provide the daily magnesium dosage needed.
DiaSense Chromium
DiaSense Chromium contains a unique formulation of chromium polynicotinate in a dose proven safe and recommended for long-term use. One tablet includes a daily dose of 200 mcg and also includes alpha lipoic acid.
DiaSense Multivitamin
The DiaSense Multivitamin provides a combination of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, such as folic acid, biotin, selenium and vitamin C. According to Blaine, the nutrients in this multivitamin “help balance blood glucose levels and improve heart, eye and skin health while maintaining nerve function.”
