Live from the ADA Convention 2006
This month in our Meters and Pumps & Infusion Sets sections we are doing something a little different. Diabetes Health is launching Diabetes Health TV from our homepage (www.diabeteshealth.com).

While attending the American Diabetes Association Scientific Sessions this past June in Washington, D.C., Scott King, editor in chief of Diabetes Health, had a chance to catch up with several diabetes professionals and researchers. Below are summaries of a couple of the videos that specifically demonstrate new meters that are on the market. These demonstrations will give you an idea of what these products do.
Bayer Breeze Demo
Shelley Baber, RD, CDE, Diabetes Specialist II for Bayer Healthcare, speaks about and demonstrates the Bayer Breeze meter which includes these features:
- 10-test auto disk
- Sip-in sampling
- Ease of use for people with dexterity issues
- No-strip handling
Prodigy Talking Meter
Rick Abulhaj, Director of Finance & Operations, talks about the Prodigy Talking Meter’s:

- Availability in English & Spanish versions
- Large screen for the visually impaired
- Computer synchronization

Simple Choice Twist
Carol Duffy, Sales Specialist for Simple Choice, speaks about and demonstrates the Simple Choice Twist and Simple Choice Easy infusion sets and their compatibility with all insulin pumps on the market. Feature includes:
