Animas Corporation Expands Product Line with Introduction of Inset

The world's first all-in-one angled insulin infusion set and inserter
West Chester, PA - November 8, 2007 - Animas Corporation today announced that it has been named the exclusive distributor of inset™ 30, the first all-in-one angled insulin infusion set and inserter. inset™ 30, from Unomedical, features an innovative product design to help people with insulin-requiring diabetes manage their diabetes.
The inset™ 30 infusion system, unveiled at the 2007 Annual Meeting of the American Association of Diabetes Educators, is the only integrated infusion system with a 30° angle in a single sterile unit. This new product is a result of input from customers and healthcare professionals.
The inset™ 30 infusion system features include a transparent window to view the infusion site, a well-protected introducer needle and a convenient needle protection carrier for after use. The product will be available in the US and Canada at launch and throughout Europe in the first quarter of 2008.
