Diabetes Health is the First Diabetes Magazine to Launch iPhone and iPod Touch Applications, DH Mobile

It is official! Today at the World's largest Diabetes Congress, the American Diabetes Association (ADA) 70th Scientific Sessions (Booth 305) in Orlando, Florida, Diabetes Health Magazine (www.diabeteshealth.com) launched the first diabetes magazine Mobile Application, Diabetes Health Mobile (DH Mobile.)

"Accessing DiabetesHealth.com, renowned for its extensive up to date content, forums, and DHTV, is now quicker and easier than ever to access on the iPhone and iPod Touch," says Russell Phillips, PhD, Managing Editor of Diabetes Health.

DH Mobile provides access to Top News, as well as other categories, including: Type 1, Type 2, Pre-Diabetes, Kids & Teens, Pharmacists, and Professional news at the Diabetes Health Website.  

Dr. Phillips says the most exciting aspect of the application is not only ease of access to information, but also the effortless sharing of the information via e-mail or on Twitter, Facebook, My Space, and Digg.

Nadia Al-Samarrie, Publisher of Diabetes Health emphasizes: "The advantage of the application is that any edition of the magazine, dating back to 2004, can be accessed with one touch; and for each page one can zoom in and swipe between pages, quickly and effectively." 

DH Mobile provides free access to the DH Library for the latest two editions of the Diabetes Health Digital Magazine; and an opportunity to upgrade to DH Mobile Plus for $1.99, a one time fee, which provides access to the entire digital magazine and video archive, dating back to 2004, including all future editions.

The DH Mobile Plus application also offers all Diabetes Health TV posts, "Watch anywhere at any time," says Al-Samarrie; "Need inspiration for dinner?  Check out a cooking video!  Want to know about the latest products?   Simply tap to watch!"

Diabetes Health will provide specific directions on how to access the application on its website at www.diabeteshealth.com.
